Introduction
I am a young scientist working on species mixtures, particularly their capacity to provide ecosystem services. In my work, I mainly use functional ecology approaches, taking into account functional traits and their variability in sole crops vs. in mixtures. In the past, I have worked on the variability of Corn and Miscanthus yields in the context of climate change, as well as on Miscanthus's soil carbon storage capacity.

The mix of oilseed rape with service crops is currently considered to be an interesting way to reduce the use of external inputs by supporting the provision of ecosystem services. Our aim was to synthesize knowledge on the services provided by service crops mixed with oilseed rape, in order to inform the choice of service crops using the trait-func...

Actual agroecosystems mainly rely for their productivity on external inputs, as the use of agrochemicals and fossil fuels, that generate negative impact on the environment limiting their sustainability. A biodiversity-based agriculture, through i.e. crop mixtures, can promote ecosystem services by increasing biological interactions in agroecosystem...

Miscanthus is a perennial C4 crop whose lignocellulose can be used as an alternative to the production of biosourced material. Miscanthus x giganteus (M. x giganteus) has demonstrated high maximum yields but also high yield variability across farmers’ fields. Miscanthus sinensis (M. sinensis) can be an alternative to M. x giganteus because it is co...

Farmers' use of fungicides and insecticides constitutes a major threat to biodiversity that is also endangering agriculture itself. Landscapes could be designed to take advantage of the dependencies of pests, pathogens and their natural enemies on elements of the landscape. Yet the complexity of the interactions makes it difficult to establish gene...

Miscanthus is a C4 bioenergy perennial crop characterized by its high potential yield. Our study aimed to compare the carbon storage capacities of Miscanthus sinensis (M. sinensis) with that of Miscanthus × giganteus (M. × giganteus) in field conditions in different types of soils in France. We set up a multi-environment experimental network. On ea...

Miscanthus is a C4 perennial grass originating from East Asia, the yields of which progressively increase in the first years of growth. Several species for bioenergy have been studied since the mid‐1980s in Europe, in particular Miscanthus x giganteus (M. x giganteus), due to its high yields. M. x giganteus is mainly cultivated in France and establ...
