Introduction
My current research focuses on ecological effects of light pollution, a global phenomenon and one of the fastest-spreading anthropogenic environmental alterations. By mimicking light conditions from urban and sub-urban areas in manipulative field studies and laboratory experiments, I investigate effects of artificial light at night, focusing on aquatic primary producers and insects.
