Maizirwan Mel is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Sustainability, Faculty of Engineering, IIUM Malaysia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering from UTM Malaysia in 2002. He has written 5 books and more than 200 technical papers in bioprocess engineering and biotechnology.
