Introduction
Maasuda Muhammad currently works at the College of Education, Salahaddin University - Erbil. Maasuda does research in Botany. Their current project is 'Effect of nitrogen on growth and yield of wheat plant.'.An experiment was conducted to study the effects of three different nitrogen fertilizers (Ammonium sulfate AS), diammonium phosphate DAP and urea), two wheat species and their interaction on plant height, number of tillers, flag leaf area, shoot dry weight, leaf chlorophylls, number of spikes plant-1, thousand seed weight, grain yield, nitrogen and grain protein content. N fertilizers significantly increased all tested parameters of growth, DAP followed by AS were a more efficient N source than urea.
