Introduction
Maaike Van Veen is a psychiatrist and epidemiologist. She works at the Centre of Expertise on Sleep and Psychiatry at GGZ Drenthe Mental Health Institution, the Netherlands. In 2022, she completed her PhD project "On edge: night and day" on sleep and aggression in psychiatry. She is interested in the interplay between sleep, psychiatric disorders and somatic co-morbidities, with focus on lifestyle and (psycho)pharmacology.
