Introduction
Dr. Md. Sultan Ahmed did PhD on pesticide research in Entomology. Presently he works as a Principal Scientific Officer at Pesticide Analytical Laboratory, Entomology Division, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Gazipur, Bangladesh. His current research project is pesticide residue determination using modern scientific instruments in vegetables, fruits, water, soil, fish and dried food. His keen interest to work on risk assessment of pesticide residue in different food matrices.

  • Twenty six years practical research experience in the field of pesticide science and pest management at BARI, Gazipur since 1995 to till date. Major responsibilities are programe planing, development and execution of research programes on pesticide analysis in various matrices and pest management in different crops. Delivered lecture as resource person on safe use and handling of pesticide for safe food production. Conduct different training programes, workshop and seminar to ensure safe food.
