Introduction
M M H Arief is a Professor of Organic Chemistry since 1999, at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Benha University, Egypt. He was awarded M.Sc in organic chemistry from Ain Shams University, followed by a PhD project on Synthesis and reactons of phthalimido- acetic and benzoic acid azides at the same university. From 1983 to 1984, he worked as a postdoc fellow at Institut für Organische Chemie, with Professor Sauter. He worked as assistant Professor starting from 1987 to 1999.
