Introduction
Lukas Eibensteiner is junior professor (with tenure track) at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, where he is responsible for the Didactics of Romance Languages. He studied Spanish, Philosophy and Psychology (teacher training programme) at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the University of Alicante (Spain). He obtained his PhD at the University of Mannheim, working on third language acquisition. He lectured at different universities (e.g. University of Kassel & University of Mainz).
