Introduction
Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor by the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He holds a Master's and Doctorate degree from the Postgraduate Program in Ecology of Continental Aquatic Environments, State University of Maringá, Research Center in Limnology, Ichthyology and Aquaculture (Nupélia). Since 2011 he has been devoted mainly to the study of the taxonomy of Callichthyidae, especially Corydoradinae. In parallel, the taxonomy of Loricariidae was also part of his studies.
