This project investigates the role of social enterprises as actors contributing to the neo-endogenous development of rural areas. through in-depth case studies it is studied how rural social enterprises engage in plural and multi-scalar socio-economic relations with different stakeholders, how they develop collaborative and collective resourcefulness practices and how they engage with their places when contributing to the sustainable and integrated development of the rural areas/localities where they operate.
