Introduction
My Thesis is a comparative study of autobiographical materials written by followers of the German "Lebensreform" movement around 1900 with content produced by German "Greenfluencers" on Instagram today. The analysis mainly focuses on the self representation as a healthy subject, the virtual and actual communities around healthy living in both eras and the possible traces of a national cultural heritage in a global phenomenon.
