Introduction
Lisa McLean is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Her research focuses on analyses of gender, migration, and social movements. Lisa's dissertation examined how the shared experience of loss among Central American mothers of disappeared migrants serves as a resource for building solidarity and forging resistant political subjectivities.
