Introduction
I am a games researcher at the University of Halle. My PhD research focused on the design and development processes of free-to-play games. Previously I worked at the Hans-Bredow-Institute (Hamburg), the HIIG (Berlin), and the University of the Arts, Utrecht (NL), where my research topics included imitation in the games sector, algorithmic decision making, digital tools for journalism and serious/applied games.
