Introduction
Lidia Mañoso-Pacheco currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philology and its Didactics of the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. She teaches English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to pre-school and primary students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Her research interests focus on journalistic discourse analysis, approached from discourse, semantic and pragmatic perspectives, as well as factors that influence second language acquisition
