Professional experience in the geoscience and environmental area in government agencies, private and multinational companies. Experienced in environmental legislation, environmental licensing, environmental impact assessments, geology, hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering, use of ArcGIS software and environmental modelling. Question
Regarding ECBM (Enhanced coal bed methane recovery) technology to contain global warming, CO2 is sequestered by coal seams and consequently recovered CH4 for energy use. But CH4 will be burned as an energy source and emit CO2 back into the atmosphere. I would like to see a demonstration of this. There is a theory that if all recovered CH4 was burned, there would be net storage of CO2, but I would like more references on that.

Question
I need more details and references about: the increase in carbon observed in the atmosphere is the organic origin CO2, not the inorganic origin CO2 released when a volcano erupts. Evaluation of isotopic carbon signatures leads to fossil sources and forest burning as responsible for the increase the concentration of this gas in the atmosphere, as a result of burning of coal, oil and natural gas by human activities.
