Introduction
Leorey N Saligan currently works at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Leorey does research determining biological mechanisms of fatigue related to cancer and its therapies. His group's current project is investigating predictive markers (genetic, proteomic) markers to identify patients at risk to develop cancer treatment-related toxicities, such as fatigue. He is also conducting proof-of-concept clinical trials to validate these potential cancer-related fatigue markers.
