Introduction
I conduct research on social cash transfer payment systems, financial inclusion and payment digitization in sub-Saharan Africa.
My current research focus lies on the impact of COVID-19 on social protection in sub-Saharan Africa, e.g. the introduction of new cash transfer programmes, the adoption of digital application and payment systems, and the impact of these short-term measures on existing social assistance schemes.
