In this paper, we provide existence and uniqueness results for the initial value problems associated with mixed Riemann-Liouville/Caputo differential equations in the real domain. We show that, under appropriate conditions in a fractional order, solutions are always square-integrable on the finite interval under consideration. The results are valid...
We continue the development of the basic theory of generalized derivatives as introduced and give some of their applications. In particular, we formulate necessary conditions for extrema, Rolle’s theorem, the mean value theorem, the fundamental theorem of calculus, integration by parts, along with an existence and uniqueness theorem for a generaliz...
We continue the development of the basic theory of generalized derivatives as introduced in [10] and give some of their applications. In particular, we formulate versions of a weak maximum principle, Rolle's theorem, the Mean value theorem, the Fundamental theorem of Calculus, Integration by parts, along with an existence and uniqueness theorem for...
We show that Sturm's classical separation theorem on the interlacing of the zeros of linearly independent solutions of real second order two-term ordinary differential equations necessarily fails in the presence of a turning point in the principal part of the equation. Related results are discussed.
Background
The rise of Cesarean Section (CS) is a global concern. In Iran, the rate of CS increased from 40.7% in 2005 to 53% in 2014. This figure is even higher in the private sector.
Objective
To analyze the CS rates in the last two years using the Robson Classification System in Iran.
Methods
A retrospective analysis of all in-hospital electro...
