In collaboration with European doctoral and post-doctoral researchers a cross-national research was conducted in France, Greece and Italy. The research project is coordinated by Dr. Maria Cristina Ginevra, Post-doctoral researcher associated with University of Milano-Bicocca, and University of Padova, Italy. The aim of the survey was to investigate the connections of positive psychological resources such as courage, hope, optimism, career adaptability and psychological well-being to career decision-making difficulties in Greek, French and Italian adolescents of 10th, 11th and 12th Grade and detect possible differences among national groups in the above constructs. The project was launched under the framework of ECADOC projecthttp://larios.psy.unipd.it/ecadoc/?page_id=29 which is jointly coordinated by the European Society for Vocational Designing and Counseling and the Network for Innovation in Career Guidance and Counselling in Europe (NICE). Several universities and laboratories all around Europe participate in this venture. The current research is one of the collaborative research efforts that have already taken place with the goal to advance research in career guidance and counseling at European and international level, promote a common international research agenda, enhance collaboration among young researchers of the CGC field and foster them as a new generation of top-notch academics.
