The overall objective of the project is to identify and detect psychosocial risk factors and protective factors of physical and mental wellbeing for funeral operators through a qualitative and quantitative research design. These factors may affect well-being and psychological physical discomfort, in particular in terms of the experience of burnout and vicarious trauma. Starting from this "mapping", it will be possible to understand which training and support activities should be implemented in order to improve the quality of the organisational lives of these workers and, consequently, the quality of a service that is very neglected culturally, despite being fundamental from a social point of view.
