El concepto de una planificación territorial verdaderamente
participativa no es novedoso, pero su aplicación real sigue siendo
un asunto pendiente en gran parte del mundo. Con esta publicación
queremos aportar nuestras experiencias para su consecución, a
través de una selección de trabajos en torno al territorio y a sus
gentes. Si bien es cierto que los casos detallados son muy diversos,
todos ellos cuentan con una perspectiva ampliamente participativa
en la que la implicación directa de los diferentes actores sociales
constituye la piedra angular para la creación de nuevos modelos de
ordenación y gestión del territorio
