Introduction
I am currently working at the University of Aberdeen and my expertise lies in the areas of Forensic Science, Evidence-Based Medicine, Public Health, and Dentistry. With a rich academic background and extensive research experience, I have previously worked as a Medical Scientist in the Department of Pediatrics at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Covid-19 created alot of distress among the general population. Many social media platforms like Facebook, whts app, telegram etc. r advertising various webinars for improving mental health in this pandemic. Up to what extend these webinars r going to help the common man specially the older age group? How these webinars can replace the social circle of old age person? I really don't understand.

On every second day, TV news r full of suicide incidents. Is this due to covid-19 scenario or any other reason behind this? Is mental health of every generation is actually being so hampered by this pandemic?
