Introduction
Prof Su and his research team, the Mind-Body Interface Laboratory (MBI-Lab), focuses on Translational Brain Research, which connects bedside to bench with novel interdisciplinary approaches AI technology, neuroimages, genomic, randomized-controlled trials (RCTs), cellular and molecular biology, by integrating clinical significance (e.g. pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, phytochemicals, rTMS and acupuncture) with the investigation of basic sciences. Prof Su is a pioneer in nutritional psychiatric research. According the h-index in the research field of “omega‐3 fatty acids in depression”, Prof Su is the top one cited PI in the world. He organized a ISNPR sub-committee and published the first "Practice Guidelines for Omega-3 Fatty Acids in the Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder".
