This paper introduces the Single Quantum Uncertainty Sphere Hypothesis, merging Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity to address the cosmological constant (Λ) discrepancy. We propose a novel method to compute Λ, considering quantum-derived vacuum energy within a singular, universe-encompassing Uncertainty Sphere. Our theoretical Λ value closely...

In our previous work we have showed that we can improve classifications of facial emotions (FE) by extending a dataset with chaotic dynamics parameters of eye movements (EM). This time we wanted to confirm our results using public and independently created video sources and for this purpose we chose the Affectiva-MIT Facial Expression Dataset (AM-F...

Background and Objective. Paul Ekman has demonstrated that we can estimate emotions on the basis of individual facial muscles movements. However, there is a lack of information in the literature about correlation between eye movements and facial emotions. Our objective was to find out whether emotion could be also visible in the dynamical propertie...

We proof that using some special medium as obstacles one can observe larger quanta of action to appear. Important is that manipulating with refractive index the entanglement is preserving when passing through obstacles.

The entropy of entanglement plays important role in quantum systems statistics. Especially it is important to measure a level of entanglement, because for high entangled photons/particles appears degeneration of states, which increase entropy of the whole system. Sometimes it is stated that entropy of the whole system is increased without increasin...

It is well-known that creation of entangled states is generated with some probabilities. It is almost impossible to create, in controlled way, a pure entangled state of large number of particles. The solution of some filter which can separate entangled photons from others should be very desirable for many applications e.g. in creation of photonic q...

We derive analytical solutions for purpose of quantum computing based on wave mechanics and assuming creation of larger quanta of action (LQA). Mainly we proof that creation of LQA increase time of coherence state of odd number of entangled photons. The theory can be generalized also to other particles, which state can be described by a wave functi...

By changing air to water flow rates of a two-phase flow through a minichannel we identified aggregation and partitioning of air bubbles and slugs of various sizes. It was found that for some flowconditions air bubbles formed periodic patterns. The identification of the spatio-temporal behaviourswas performed with a laser transitivity sensor and con...

A simple spin system is constructed to simulate dynamics of asset prices and studied numerically. The outcome for the distribution of prices is shown to depend both on the dimension of the system and the introduction of price into the link measure. For dimensions below 2, the associated risk is high and the price distribution is bimodal. For higher...

We briefly review the approach to optimization of portfolios according to the theory of Markowitz and propose a further modification that can improve the outcome of the optimization process. The modification takes account of the entropic contribution from the time series used to compute the parameters in the Markowitz method.

An experimental setup has been designed that makes possible a real-time noise reduction and an increase of automatic word recognition rate. The applied algorithm uses a dynamical filtering method for investigated time-series and has been implemented in Spartan 3 FPGA evaluation board RC10 made by Celoxica. We show that our approach increases the nu...

We measure the content of random uncorrelated noise in heart rate variability using a general method of noise level estimation using a coarse-grained entropy. We show that usually, except for atrial fibrillation, the level of such noise is within 5–15% of the variance of the data and that the variability due to the linearly correlated processes is...

The success of nonlinear noise reduction applied to a single channel recording of human voice is measured in terms of the recognition rate of a commercial speech recognition program in comparison to the optimal linear filter. The overall performance of the nonlinear method is shown to be superior. We hence demonstrate that an algorithm that has its...

We propose a route for the evaluation of risk based on a transformation of the covariance matrix. The approach uses a ‘potential’ or ‘objective’ function. This allows us to rescale data from different assets (or sources) such that each data set then has similar statistical properties in terms of their probability distributions. The method is tested...

We present a method that uses distances between nearest neighbors in Takens space to evaluate a level of noise. The method is valid even for high noise levels. The method has been verified by estimation of noise levels in several chaotic systems. We have analyzed the noise level for Dow Jones and DAX indexes and we have found that the noise level r...

Time changes of noise level at Warsaw Stock Market are analyzed using a recently developed method basing on properties of the coarse grained entropy. The condition of the minimal noise level is used to build an efficient portfolio. Our noise level approach seems to be a much better tool for risk estimations than standard volatility parameters. We report our results on non-periodic experimental time series of pressure in a single cylinder spark ignition engine. The experiments were performed for different levels of loading. We estimate the noise level in internal pressure calculating the coarse-grained entropy from variations of maximal pressures in successive cycles. The results show tha...

Using a recently developed method of noise level estimation that makes use of properties of the coarse grained-entropy we have analyzed the noise level for the Dow Jones index and a few stocks from the New York Stock Exchange. We have found that the noise level ranges from 40 to 80 percent of the signal variance. The condition of a minimal noise le...

On the basis of a local-projective with nonlinear constraints (LPNC) approach (see K. Urbanowicz, J.A. Holyst, T. Stemler and H. Benner, Acta Phys. Pol B 35 (9), 2175, 2004) we develop a method of noise reduction in time series that makes use of constraints appearing due to the continuous character of flows. As opposed to local-projective methods i...

We present a new type of deterministic dynamical behaviour that is less predictable than white noise. We call it anti-deterministic (AD) because time series corresponding to the dynamics of such systems do not generate deterministic lines in recurrence plots for small thresholds. We show that although the dynamics is chaotic in the sense of exponen...

We analyze the experimental time series of internal pressure in a four cylinder spark ignition engine. In our experiment, performed for different spark advance angles, apart from the usual cyclic changes of engine pressure we observed additional oscillations. These oscillations are with longer time scales ranging from one to several hundred engine...

On the basis of a local-projective (LP) approach we develop a method of noise reduction in time series that makes use of nonlinear constraints appearing due to the deterministic character of the underlying dynamical system. The Delaunay triangulation approach is used to find the optimal nearest neighboring points in time series. The efficiency of o...

We present a method of noise-level estimation that is valid even for high noise levels. The method makes use of the functional dependence of coarse-grained correlation entropy K2(epsilon ) on the threshold parameter epsilon. We show that the function K2(epsilon ) depends, in a characteristic way, on the noise standard deviation sigma. It follows th...

We show that the function $K_2(\eps)$ depends in a characteristic way on the noise standard deviation $\sigma$. It follows that...

Several economical time series such as exchange rates US$/British Pound, USA Treasure Bonds rates and Warsaw Stock Index WIG have been investigated using the method of recurrence plots. The percentage of recurrence REC and the percentage of determinism DET have been calculated for the original and for shuffled data. We have found that in some cases...

A two-dimensional map describing chaotic behaviour of an economic model has been stabilized on various periodic orbits by the use of Pyragas time-delayed feedback control. The method avoids fancy data processing used in the Ott–Grebogi–Yorke approach and is based solely on the plain measurement and time lag of a scalar signal which in our case is a...

Question
We resolve problem of cosmological constant discrepancy.
In order to do this we assume Single Uncertainty Sphere, meaning that only one exists on whole Universe and in that way the energy density just reduced by 122 orders of magnitude and make theoretical values of cosmological constant coherent with observations.
This hypothesis gives much larger impact not only on astrophysics, but also how we should perceive structure how space is constructed.
Feel free to comment and encourage for discussion about this assumption.
Do you think it is too abstract and crazy?

Question
We are looking for answers on some questions from quantum optics. Under link you can find all questions that we are looking for. The question in title is one example in order to show what kind of questions we are searching.
Question
We are in position of increasing speed of hashing of about 2-3 times than standard.
We publish the code only because we know that this idea is very controversial and should be theoretically not possible. If the finding is really true, it will break most important principles of cryptography. That is why we would like to be under pressure of critics, which would proof us that we are not in right.
Please feel free to comment.
The description with code in C are under link below.
Question
I developed quite new Theory of Information. In order to poof this one needs to find larger than h (Planck constant) quant of Action. I managed to made such an experiment but with limited resources and home-made. Under the link below you will find theory, experiment setup and results. I am open on expert critics and comments.
