The project generates information on biodiversity (plants, fungi, vertebrates and invertebrates, protists) of different types of mires and their hydrographic network. Separate attention is paid to the issues of protection, rare and vulnerable species. The study area includes the taiga zone of the European North of Russia, especially the Vologda and Arkhangelsk Regions. В рамках проекта генерируется информация о биоразнообразии (растения, грибы, позвоночные и беспозвоночные животные, протисты) разных типов болот и их гидрографической сети. Отдельно внимание уделено вопросам охраны, редким и уязвимым видам. Район исследования включает таёжную зону Европейского Севера России, в особенности Вологодскую и Архангельскую области.
