Introduction
Dr King's current research in economic sociology explores the role of networks and norms in the emergence of economic institutions and organisations. He is conducting an ongoing study on endogenous institutional change, focusing on the networks and norms of entrepreneurs in West African firms. This research includes examining the reflexive basis of reputation in multiplex networks, identifying the sources of trust in low-trust societies and investigating networks & their sources of cooperation.
