Introduction
I'm a percussionist and composer with a focus on drumming and rhythm from India (Carnatic drumming especially), the Arab World (Darbuka, Riq), the pan-global Frame Drum movement, as well as Gamelan Degung of West Java, Indonesia. My main curiosity these days is in cross-cultural approaches to musical rhythm, and the way in which musicians perceive and express "inner time".
