Introduction
I'm Kelsy, a Ph.D. student in Mass Communication. My current research interests explore the intersections of social media, entrepreneurship, and community building. Currently, I'm working on my dissertation, which examines the experiences of Black immigrant women as they navigate brand building and identity with algorithmic requirements and self care in digital labor and exploitation. I aim to contribute a deeper understanding of the complex relationships between technology, identity, and power
