Introduction
I am now Professor Emeritus in Control Engineering. My research is still directed to applications of intelligent methods in paper and metallurgical industries, biotechnology, minerals processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Applications consist of soft sensors, advanced control, diagnostics and condition monitoring, wireless systems, and modelling and control in energy production The group is with 8 doctors and 4 doctoral students.
