I'm dealing with mediation model with latent factors. Before I conducted CFA on my data and all items loaded significantly to the factors. But then I decided to use PLS-SEM for studying mediation, because I have many variables and when I start mediation analysis due to specification model computer can't compute all the information correctly. So when i entered data and started PLS, i got some of items loaded non-significantly, which surprised me, because in all CFAs they loaded on very high significance level.
Could you explain me, what can cause the problem, and maybe there's a literature to read about this.
Professional identity is contributing to positive psychological functioning (PPF) and it's known since the very beginning of the identity researches. But what's the mechanism of this contribution?
There are different connections between identity and different measures of PPF like subjective wellbeing or optimism. I think, that very logical way is that development of identity enhances some positive traits and psychological resources , which in turn enhance wellbeing. What is your thoughts on this? Do you know any researches which can prove or refuse my point?
It's a question about stability. What time is enough to change identity status, for example? Can it change few times a year or it takes 1-2-3 years?
Hello everyone. I'm interested in professional identity formation and I have a question - how PI can form secondary, not from the very beginning, but when it's been formed already and it needs to reform, reconstruct. Could you advise me some sources, where i can read smth about it, please?
