Project
The CNL project aims to provide teachers, school headmasters, students, teachers and researchers in teacher education and teacher training with teaching/learning materials that promote Anthropocene competence and cultural sustainability. This is initially understood as the ability to face the uncertainties of climate change in a fact-based and solution-oriented way. A differentiated definition of Anthropocene competence is an essential project goal. Cultural education with its creative potential plays a key role in the sustainable reshaping of human-nature relations in the Anthropocene. Creative access via language, literature and art creates an inclusive variety of possibilities for successful science communication. With the help of visualisations and narratives, complex material cycles and the interactions between humans and nature, culture and technology become comprehensible. This understanding is an important prerequisite for being able to shape the future together and sustainably for all. It counteracts fear of the future and climate concerns by making the possibilities of individual and collective action for the environment visible. The CNL project presents "CultureNature Literacy" (CNL) as an inclusive educational concept for social transformation in the sense of SDG 4. The focus is on cultural practices (such as reading, writing, storytelling, designing, analogue and digital) that promote creativity and empathy in participatory interaction, contribute to value formation and co-responsibility. The CNL project therefore focuses on text-image narratives in digital learning environments as innovative ways of science communication with the aim of cultural sustainability. The project partners want to create access to education that is equitable in terms of opportunities. The CNL concept and the educational materials aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice in order to enable all people to participate in the future-oriented reshaping of human-nature relations in the Anthropocene.

This research project deals with the development, design and evaluation of robotics-based learning environments. It focuses on the introduction of computer science education and the promotion of computational thinking skills in primary school students.

Das Projekt „Distance Learning - Lernen trotz Corona“ beschäftigt sich mit einer Analyse des verordneten Distance Learnings sowie der Erhöhung der Kompetenz der Lehrenden im Umgang mit digitalem Lernen, dem kreativen, digitalen Gestalten und innovativen Zugängen bei der Nutzung digitaler Medien in der Schule zur und nach der Zeit der Corona-Pandemie. Gleichzeitig soll mit Hilfe der Plattform lernentrotzcorona.at Hilfestellung gegeben werden und der Schritt in Richtung Digitalisierung bereits ab der Primarstufe gefördert werden.
