Introduction
My research philosophy sees archaeology as a science that is especially predestined to interdisciplinary cooperation with disciplines from the field of natural sciences. If we add to this GIS tools which are particularly useful due integration of different kinds of data (archaeological, palynological, archaeobotanical, pedological, geomorphological etc., as well as the outcome of remote sensing and geophysics) the connection between archaeology, natural sciences and GIS seems to be complete.
