Introduction
My early work was on animal behaviour, studying foraging and agonistic interactions in hermit crabs. I then studied the links between behaviour and sexual trait evolution, focusing on sexual conflict in livebearing poeciliids using phylogenetic comparative methods to explore the co-evolution of reproductive strategies. Later, shifted to cichlid morphological diversification. Currently, back to poeciliids, unraveling mate-choice mechanisms pre- and post-mating and their evolutionary consequences.
