Archived project
Beginning in the 1980s, studies and evaluations of the ground beetle fauna of the German state of Baden-Württemberg were carried out. A checklist and red list were compiled and updated. Local or regional projects were carried out in many natural geographic areas of Baden-Württemberg. Duration about 35 years. Until 2012, the project was mainly self-financed. After that, funding from the state of Baden-Württemberg was also available. The project was carried out in collaboration with colleagues and has been completed. A basic work on ground beetles (2 volumes) was published in 2017.
Archived project
An annotated checklist was compiled for Germany. This is followed by an assessment in the context of a Red List (1997 and 2015). In addition, the project includes a catalog of habitat preferences within the activities of the GAC and a distribution atlas. Duration about 30 years. The project, which was largely self-funded, was carried out in collaboration with colleagues and has been completed.
