Introduction
Juan Fran is a Forestry Engineer with two PhDs, one in Conservation and Sustainable Use of Forest Systems and another in Information and Communication Technology. His research is highly multidisciplinary encompassing ecohydraulics, flow-sensing technologies, sensor networks, CFD, freshwater fish preference/ecology or fishways. Now he is working at University of Valladolid, holding a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship to conduct "Smart Fishways" EU project as PI.
