Introduction
Currently, founder and CEO at Local & Global Ideas SC, a consultancy firm specialized on climate change, urban planning, housing, territorial development and ultimately energy efficiency. Former Deputy General Director of Territorial Planning and Focal Point of Climate Change at the Ministry of Social Development in Mexican Federal Government. Urban Planner with two Master degrees on urban planning obtained at El Colegio de México and at the Institut d'Urbanisme de Paris. PhD Candidate by Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III. He did a course on Urban Land and Climate Change given by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He has been awarded three times for his researches and essays on water management, metropolitan governance and how to cope with urban sprawl in Mexico City through economic instruments. Former Academic Secretary of University Program on Urban Studies at UNAM. He has worked as consultant for OECD, Centro Mario Molina, IADB, CONEVAL, INECC, ALENER, UNDP, WWF, GIZ, Danish Energy Agency, among others. He is the author of several articles on urban development and metropolitan governance in specialized journals.
