Relaxc • Change of paradigm: In contrast with the other approaches, Relaxc is an implicit algebraic controller. The control U is evaluated by numerical convergence. This is why U does not depend of the mathematical structure of the process, so that we can apply it for tuning (almost) all the kind of processes, without modification or complex parame...

77 years later and an impressive literature about the control theory, the controller Relaxc seems to bring an efficient way to control any process without effort. The methodology of Relaxc is close to the methodology of Ziegler and Nichols to identify some process characteristics. May be, they were right, but to apply it at a PID (mathematical stru...

After our experience with Ecalibration to design combustion engine, we can point out numerous benefits. One of most important aspects when working with our models is related to the time saving. With Ecalibration, the number of executions to calibrate our complete engine simulations decrease drastically, going from 15 to 3 (or even less). In this wa...

New techniques of "model-free control'' are applied to throttles, which are valves that directly regulate the amount of air entering the engines. Our numerical simulations may be favorably compared to a flatness-based linear predictive control, where a precise mathematical model is needed. Some details of the implementation are provided.

Question
Hi
I would like to get a feedback about the comparison of Relaxc controller vs other controllers ( PID, 2DOF, IMC, MPC, fractional, etc) on several process modeling (Non linear) in order to compare the time response, overshoot, and the load disturbance rejection.
If a student, researcher is motivated to try relaxc,( The tuning of relaxc is quick( 5 minutes)). I will send the key to run it.
The free trial version under Simulink( mexfunction) is on my account, The practical tuning guidev2 too. If you have any question, I can help you.
Thank you
