Introduction
Professor of Entomology at the Universidade Federal do Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil. Trying to get my lab up and running and writing up the results from studying ant diversity in southern Ecuador along a transect from the Pacific coast to the Amazon region. Looking at ant fauna from the southern Atlantic Forest above 1000m, and a hard mean look at Dinoponera. My students are also sinking their teeth into Pachycondyla, army ant males, and Neoponera.
