Potential research question:
How does the University Global Engagement agenda advance university and government policy towards community educational and social outcomes?
Sub-questions:
1. What is the function of Global Engagement at universities?
2. How does Global Engagement advance the core business of universities i.e. Teaching, Learning & Research?
3. How does Global Engagement impact international relations? (How does it play a role in soft power?)
4. Does Global Engagement have social influences and outcomes on students and a nation’s policies? If so, what evidence is there of these influences and outcomes?
5. Under what conditions does Global Engagement become more critical for universities? (e.g. what role does it play in a pandemic)
6. What shapes ideologies & agendas across Indonesia, Vietnam & Australia?
