Introduction
I am physical oceanographer by training. My research is concerned with better understanding the role ocean physics play in shaping the marine environment, including biogeochemical, biological and atmospheric processes - from large to local scale, from polar to tropical oceans, from open ocean to coastal areas. Being experimental oceanographer I am working on the application and development of novel ocean observing techniques. This also includes optimal ocean observing design.
