This "project" is meant to act more like a "group" for goby scientists. The aim is to share information about meetings, research and other activities, and to provide a forum for communication among scientists and students working with goby fishes. Anyone working with gobies as a student or scientist (or otherwise) is welcome to join the network - the more, the better. In order to join, you have (according to RG rules, if I understand them right) to follow me on RG, because the Goby Network is hosted on my profile. And then you need send me a message on RG that you would like to join. You will then be entered as a "collaborator", in line with RG terminology. Not all goby scientists are on RG. If you are but know colleagues you think should become members of the Goby Network you may encourage/invite them to join RG. Please note that there is also a Facebook group called "Goby Research Group", with Johannes Björk as the admin. If you're on Fb, I encourage you to join this group, too. The Fb group may be a quicker way for simple discussions, questions, etc, whereas RG is better for sharing articles (pdfs) and other written material. They overlap as tools for notifying about new research - I encourage you to use both to make the network know about your recent work. And, in case of RG, also of not-so-recent work.
