The project aims to address the impacts on governance processes and structures caused by the intervention of watercourses through hydroelectric development in southern Chile, and thus, analyze the effectiveness of Indigenous consultation in reducing power gaps and their impacts on the representation of Indigenous peoples in territories in conflict. Through the qualitative analysis of three cases we seek to understand the fusion of struggles for control of resources and who culturally defines and politically organizes water and energy in the territories.
