Project
Our legal research group supports the COVID-19 research data base by modeling data governance. Research for the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination is carried out by all Bavarian University hospitals and lead by Prof. Dr. Klaus Überla, University of Erlangen. Our contribution to the project is developing a legal framework including data protection, patients rights and ethics. Data security and system architecture is done by iisys colleague Prof. Dr. Jörg Scheidt and University spin-off smartlytic GmbH.
Project
Aim of the project is to design and implement a national register containing headache and migraine patients data to support the treatment of such patients. The Law Research Group contributes to the project by designing the data protection process and the data protection impact assessment.
