In the AR/VR.nrw project, the technologies augmented and virtual reality are being integrated more strongly into teaching and research at universities and collaboration in this area is being improved. For this purpose, Figments.nrw, an open and free learning software and authoring environment, is being developed and made available. In addition, exemplary learning scenarios will be developed and services for universities will be established to support teachers in the use and development of augmented and virtual reality in higher education. - accelerated ageing of optical plastic under blue light irradiation (450 nm) - robust and precise testing setup to ensure traceable ageing - optical and mechanical analysis of aged samples
The aim of this project is to establish reliable test setups for the determination of photodegration processes of polymers under high intensity irradiation in the visible, especially blue, region of the electromagnetic spectrum. This is important with respect to reliability testing of materials used in optics for LED lighting and related applications.
