Introduction
I am currently working on my Phd project which concerns the military organization of the Alentejo region in the 14th c. and it's funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT (SFRH/BD/136145/2018), under the supervision of Prof. João Gouveia Monteiro. One of the main objectives is to conduct research in Alentejo's local and regional archives, although the backbone of the project is to understand how war was managed in this region by the Crown and by the local authorities.
