The research and development project GBL4deaf - Game-Based Learning for Deaf Students - aims to explore the impact of educational videogames in the teaching of mathematics to deaf children, in particular students of the 7th grade (3rd cycle of Basic Education), through the experimental study of its effectiveness as a tool to support learning, in comparison with other teaching approaches. The GBL4deaf aims to add a scientific dimension to the videogames that have been developed by Casa Pia - CED Jacob Rodrigues Pereira and Lusófona University (ULHT) since 2015, in the context of the bachelor degree in Multimedia Applications and Videogames.
