De autonomie van werknemers in Nederland is tussen 2008 en 2013 gestaag gedaald. De daling vond plaats bij vrijwel alle personeelscategorieën en sectoren, maar het sterkst onder jongeren en werknemers met een flexibel arbeidscontract. De daling van de werknemersautonomie is een mogelijk risico voor de innovatiekracht in Nederland.
