The project aimed at a deeper understanding of the meaning-making process in cancer and empirical verification of the integrative meaning-making model. In addition, we propose to complete the model with the elements of the psychological flexibility model. Creating flexibility should foster meaning-making in disease by building more flexible and workable meaning-making explanations of disease.
