Introduction
As President of the Egas Moniz – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior, CRL, since 2017, I have been leading this prominent University Institution to better national and international achievements in the Education, Research and Social Care domains.
Regarding my Education and Research backgrounds, I have a Dental Medicine Degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz (current Instituto Universitário Egas Moniz) (1995), a Post- Graduation in Implantology from the Universität Bern (Swtzerland. 1997), an Post- Graduation in Health Unit Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2002) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar da Universidade do Porto (2010). Since January 2017 I was elected President of the CiiEM.
