Question
Land use limits are a legislatively defined part of spatial planning tools in the Czech Republic. Is there a similar mechanism in other countries, please? Eventualy, is it available in English (either in the form of a handbook or an article)? My aim is to evaluate the link between land use limits in spatial planning and ecosystem services. Thank you.
Question
We prepare a project proposal for evaluation of ecosystem services of closed recultivated landfills of mixed communal waste in the Czech Republic. Please, could you recommend us works or results of investigation of biodiversity (or focused on individual groups of organisms) of these landfills? Especially in  near-by countries - Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austraia, Hungary. Thank you very much
Question
We investigate efectiveness of public participation on EIA process in Czech Republic. We found only a few articles with examples from other countries e.g. Silas 2013, Nadeem and Fischer 2010, Del Furia and Wallace-Jones 2000) or general works like Hartley and Wood, 2005.  We are especially interesting in possibilities how determinate „public“ (and separate it from „professionals“), how classify weight of trusts or petitions comparing with individual persons, how select public remarks and observations and also findings fo investigation from another countries. We have own methodology for it now, but it is important to know another possibilities.
Question
I prepare questionare surveys about public perception of forest within project http://rafa.frrms.mendelu.cz/en?lang=en. I have ideas about objectives of questionare, but Im looking for rules (methodology) of taking pictures of forest stands structure. What is necessary to take care? Or is it enough to have similar values of exposition, focal distance etc.? I suppose there is necessary to accept diferrence light conditions within forest stands.
Question
I found only common verbal description without counting or expression how LAG activities support regional development within their area.
Question
I'm focused on forest functions, their evaluation and position within ecosystem services systems. It is easy to find gerenal information about systems like TEEB, CICES, MEA or FEGS and their mutual connections. It is possilbe to find a lot of  scientific research results focused on specific ecosystem aspects of forest ecosystem functions (soil processes, water runnof etc.). But I've tried to find more complex systems of forest function evaluation (like e.g. Vyskot et al.) nad use as ecosystem base for evaluation of forest ecosystem services (potential of forest ecosystem to fulfil social needs). Maybe there are research reports more useful than articles in journals?
